Your Council
Easingwold Town Council comprises 11 councillors voted in for a four year term. There are currently 10 councillors plus a vacancy. The current council commenced in May 2019. The council is supported by the Town Clerk and the Assistant Town Clerk who are based in our offices located in the town library.
The full council is organised into several committees that help undertake the detailed work needed to support the town. The town council meets monthly and the committees quarterly. In addition to this a planning committee meets monthly in advance of the committee meetings.
The Town Council is delighted that Easingwold has been listed as dementia-friendly; this means our community helps people with dementia feel included and supported in the places they work, live and play.
