Councillor
Neil Madden
After a career in environmental protection, I have now retired and am committed to helping and working for the community of Easingwold, where I have lived with my wife Diana since 1993, although my family still live in York.
As a volunteer I support many local charities and organisations which benefit residents of all ages in the community. These include Easingwold Community Library, the Galtres Centre, COZIE, the United Charities and the Beckwith Trust. I am a member and past President of Easingwold Lions, a member of the Easingwold U3A, the Forest of Galtres Society and the golf club.
I was first elected to the Town Council in 2003 with the aims of putting the interests of Easingwold first, and feel privileged to continue to serve the people and town of Easingwold – what a great place to live.
