Ewan Whiteside

Originally from Prudhoe, Northumberland, I moved to Easingwold at 16 and have proudly made it my home. My early involvement in community activities with my mother sparked a lasting commitment to civic duty that continues to grow.

While I trained in computer networking and maintain a passion for technology, my career path led me to the hospitality industry. I now serve as Operations Manager at The George, where many of you might recognise me. I’m always happy to chat!

As a councillor, I’m eager to help promote community events, empower local businesses, and support the residents of Easingwold. I envision a thriving town where local engagement reinvests in our community.

It’s a privilege to be part of such a proactive council, and I’m excited to learn from my fellow councillors while contributing to our efforts to enhance the quality of life in Easingwold.
