North Yorkshire Council is the planning authority for Easingwold and should be contacted for residents’ planning requirements. Easingwold Town Council is a statutory consultee of any planning applications within its parish boundaries. Such applications are considered on a monthly basis by a planning committee and then comments arising are ratified at the Full Council meeting the following day. Comments are then sent to North Yorkshire Council for them to use in their planning process.
