Chairman & Town Mayor
Peter Nottage
Originally from London I have lived in Easingwold since 1994 and, along with wife Stephanie, have raised two children here both going to Easingwold Primary and Secondary schools.
I have previously been Chairman of Governors at the Primary School for a number of years and am currently the Chairman of Easingwold Town AFC as well as a junior football coach – a keen Spurs fan I am trying to educate our youngsters in how the game should be played!
I joined Easingwold Town Council in 2013 and became the Chairman and Town Mayor in 2016. I am also the Chairman of the Easingwold and Villages Forum.
I feel privileged to lead such a positive and pro-active Council dedicated to improving the quality of life for all our citizens living in our lovely town and am proud that we have been recognised as the Parish Council of the Year by Hambleton District Council for the last two years!
